Pedro Guilhardi
With his practice focused on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, Pedro also sits as an arbitrator. Alongside his involvement in various strategic disputes throughout his professional practice, he has pursued extensive academic training in the fields of Arbitration and Private Law, with an emphasis on Business Law.
Prior to his current practice, Pedro worked in the dispute resolution department of TozziniFreire Advogados for over 12 years. He then served as a partner at Nanni Advogados for more than 8 years, from the firm’s founding, focusing on arbitration, sitting as arbitrator, and acting as secretary of arbitral tribunals.
He graduated in law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) in 2006 and obtained his LL.M. in International and Comparative Commercial Arbitration from Queen Mary University of London in 2012. He went on to earn a Master’s degree (2017) and a Ph.D. (2024) in Commercial Law from PUC-SP. His Master’s dissertation was published as Garantias autônomas: instrumento para proteção jurídica do crédito (Quartier Latin, 2019). His doctoral thesis, published as Contratações ESG: violação e resolução contratual (Quartier Latin, 2025), examines the impact of ESG factors on business contracts.
Pedro completed a secondment with the international arbitration team at Dechert LLP in Paris, France, in 2012, and worked at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, also in Paris, in 2013.

Mariana Yamashita
Her academic and professional interests focus on arbitration, business contracts and dispute resolution.
Holds a Law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR) and is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).
Before joining the firm, served as a case manager at the CIESP/FIESP Arbitration Chamber, overseeing the administration of arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Member of the Council of New Voices, the young arbitration practitioners’ group of the CIESP/FIESP Chamber.
Member of the FGV Study Group on the Usury Law in the case law of the Brazilian Superior Courts, coordinated by Professor Renata Steiner.
Member of the organizing team of the CoDiTech Moot academic competition.
Former Vice-President of the CBMA Young Arbitration Practitioners Committee, coach of the ESPM team at the 2025 CAMARB Arbitration Competition, and member of study groups at IBDiC and Fundação Arcadas/USP.
At the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, one of the leading academic competitions in international commercial arbitration, served as an oralist for the State University of Londrina from 2021 to 2023 and coached the university’s team until 2025.
